Books Turned Into Movies

Twilight. Harry Potter Series. Bridge to Terabithia. Matilda. Slumdog Millionaire. Hotel For Dogs. Coraline. Confessions of a Shopaholic. The Golden Compass. Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. Marley & Me.

These are all books that have turned into movies. This post is for you to compare any book that was made into a movie. Whether it is a book/movie up there or a one that you know, you can discuss which one you liked better or any differences that you noticed.

Thanks for looking at my blog!

  1. While I enjoy watching the Harry Potter movies, I have to admit that I've been a bit disappointed at how they sometimes change or omit certain parts of the plot. Does anyone else share this sentiment?

  2. Yes! I think that it is very annoying that they change parts of the book to fit into the movies. It doesnt make sense to me at all. I mean if the movies were longer so they could make it accurate I know i wouldnt mind. Even if the movie was three hours long it would still probably end up a number one.

  3. I agree. I would rather watch a longer, accurate movie than a shorter, inaccurate movie.

  5. That's exactly how I feel. Whats the point of making a book into a movie if the movie isnt like the book? It doesnt make sense to me.

  6. I know. They don't follow how the book goes and it gets so aggravating(I like Twilight though)
